Progress: Attended the inspirational Main Stage talk on the story and creation of The Black List with Franklin Leonard! He offered great insights on putting yourself out there, gathering feedback, and leaning into community.

I validated the Open Brewery DB research agent concept with an active contributor on Discord using my public Leaflet post! Confirmed a core pain point: contributors want to help, but manually researching brewery updates is a tedious slog. (thank you tululu!)

Settling more on a human-in-the-loop MVP architecture where the agent handles the heavy lifting of gather-and-present research while leaving final data edits to human contributors.

Struggle: Feeling behind and overwhelmed by the volume of work left to do, while managing the pressure to balance full automation against a thoughtful human-in-the-loop design. Also, it doesn't stop next week. 😅

Plan: Document the updated project architecture and record the Week 3 demo video. Leverage Copilot CLI to start building deterministic data pipelines for federal and state APIs that have direct endpoints before layering in broader web search capabilities.
