Progress: Attended workshops on GitHub Open Source and Agentic AI on Azure. Completed a new Discovery Canvas and MVP Canvas to think through my project pivot. Settled on building an agentic AI Discord bot for the Open Brewery DB contributor community to streamline research on existing breweries, specifically designed to showcase agentic harnessing, evaluations, and tool use for portfolio development after my call with my mentor last week. Started planning and developing using Copilot CLI.
Struggle: Managing the pressure of a mid-sprint pivot. Adjusting course based on mentor feedback to focus on higher-visibility AI techniques while navigating the feeling of falling behind on documentation, demos, and pitches.
Plan: Keep pushing forward on the new Open Brewery DB Discord bot. Apply the agentic AI and harness evaluation concepts learned in recent workshops, and catch up on documentation, demo videos, and pitch materials.
